La Fondation Frantz Fanon dénonce et condamne la violence de l’ offensive illégale que le Peuple palestinien subit depuis le début du mois de Ramadan. Le pouvoir colonial israélien, sa police et son armée, a bloqué l’accès aux lieux de cultes; ainsi sur l’esplanade des Mosquées, l’armée israélienne a violemment délogé les fidèles ayant fait le serment de protéger la Mosquée Al Aqsa; plus de 700 personnes ont été blessées, d’autres ont été tuées. À cette violence institutionnelle s’ajoute celle des groupes sionistes d’extrême-droite qui multiplient les provocations et les harcèlements contre la population palestinienne, en appelant à son expulsion. Depuis plusieurs jours, c’est le quartier, hautement symbolique, de Cheikh Jarrah à Jerusalem-Est qui est au centre des pressions israéliennes; quatre familles sont menacées d’expulsion, dans la continuité de la politique d’apartheid et de dépossession, fondements de l’Etat israélien. A la fin de la journée de violence de Lundi, l’armée israélienne a bombardé Gaza, faisant 25 morts, dont neuf enfants.
Dans le contexte honteux de la normalisation des relations avec l’Etat d’Israel de la part de nombreux Etats arabes, doublé de la complicité et de l’inaction hypocrite des Etats occidentaux et de la prétendue «Communauté Internationale» -si prompte à imposer des sanctions contre des pays du Sud mais qui ferme les yeux face à la violation du droit international et à la négation du droit des peuples par l’Etat colonial israélien-, le peuple palestinien ne peut compter que sur la solidarité et la mobilisation des Peuples pour demander l’application et le respect du droit international et du droit humanitaire international.
La Fondation Frantz Fanon soutient la lutte du Peuple palestinien et appelle les Etats et la Communauté internationale à prendre leurs responsabilités au regard du droit international.

The Frantz Fanon Foundation on the side of the Palestinian people
The Frantz Fanon Foundation denounces and condemns the violence of the illegal offensive that the Palestinian people have been subjected to since the beginning of the month of Ramadan. The Israeli colonial power, its police and its army, has been blocking access to the places of worship; thus on the Mosque esplanade, the Israeli army violently dislodged the faithful having made the oath to protect the Al Aqsa Mosque; more than 700 people were wounded, others were killed. In addition to this institutional violence, Zionist far-right groups are multiplying their provocations and harassments against the Palestinian population, calling for its expulsion. For several days, the highly symbolic neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem has been at the center of Israeli pressure; four families are threatened with expulsion, in the continuity of the policy of apartheid and dispossession, the foundations of the Israeli state. At the end of the Monday’s day of violence, the Israeli army bombed Gaza, killing 25 people, including nine children.
In the shameful context of the normalization of relations with the State of Israel on the part of many Arab states, coupled with the complicity and hypocritical inaction of Western states and the so-called « International Community » – so quick to impose sanctions against Southern countries but which turns a blind eye to the violation of international law and the denial of the rights of peoples by the Israeli colonial state-, the Palestinian people can only count on the solidarity and mobilization of the Peoples to demand the application and respect of international law and international humanitarian law.
The Frantz Fanon Foundation supports the struggle of the Palestinian people and calls on States and the international community to assume their responsibilities under international law.
