N’oublions pas que le peuple palestinien est occupé et colonisé illégalement depuis plus de 75 ans, en violation totale du droit international et du droit humanitaire international et des principes fondateurs de la Charte des Nations Unies. A chaque bombardement de Gaza, à chaque attaque de colons, à chaque emprisonnement administratif sans procès, des voix se lèvent pour dénoncer ces violations mais rapidement un silence assourdissant les couvre. Se serait-on habitué à cette occupation longue et illégale d’un peuple qui a déjà, après la décision de l’ONU d’installer l’Etat d’Israël à peine né sur les terres du peuple palestinien, vécu une Nakba qui a si peu ému l’Occident ? Qu’en sera-t-elle de celle qui s’annonce et qui est appelée par un membre de la Knesset, « Right now, one goal: Nakba! A Nakba that will overshadow the Nakba of 1948 (Ariel Kallner, membre de la Knesset, Twitter (Oct. 7, 2023)» ? Ne nous sommes-nous pas aussi habitués aux morts du Yemen, de la RDC, de l’Afghanistan, du Sahara occidental et de bien d’autres pays en lutte pour leurs droits ?
La culpabilité européenne qui renvoie au fait que, durant la seconde guerre mondiale, des Blancs ont tué d’autres Blancs n’a jamais cessé de frapper de cécité éthique, morale, intellectuelle et politique une grande partie du monde blanc, y compris dans les rangs de la gauche. Défendre les droits inaliénables du peuple palestinien n’est pas de l’antisémitisme -l’utilisation de ce terme cache actuellement bien d’autre pensée raciste. Dans leur appel à manifester « pour la République et contre l’antisémitisme », le président du Sénat et celle de l’Assemblée nationale ont bien précisé « notre laïcité doit être protégée, elle est un rempart contre l’islamisme ». Alea jacta est : les mots ont un sens. Cette marche, une fois encore, est prétexte à dénoncer l’Islam et plus généralement les musulmans vivant en France, comme s’il était admis, une fois pour toutes, qu’ils n’aiment pas les « Juifs ». Oublient-ils qui a dénoncé les Français ou les réfugiés de religion juive en France ? qui a demandé l’honneur et la tête du Capitaine Dreyfus ? Qui dessinait des caricatures de Pierre Mendes France et quel journal les publiait ? Une mémoire trop courte pour être honnête. Pire, cette mémoire malhonnête vient obscurcir le véritable motif de la haine antisémite qui a mené au génocide des Européens de religion juive: la défense de la suprématie blanche et de la civilisation occidentale, celle-là même qui s’identifie aujourd’hui à l’État israélien.
La France voulant se racheter une conduite morale trouve un nouveau coupable, avec l’espoir que cela passera d’autant mieux que de nombreux musulmans sont arrivés depuis la période des trente Glorieuses. Un cynisme affolant mais un racisme pur et dur. Notre pays est un pays à l’idéologie raciste et racialisante. A la suite de cet appel irresponsable, devrons-nous nous inquiéter pour nos frères et sœurs de religion musulmane ou identifiés comme tels, pour nos frères et sœurs noirs ? Certainement. Serons-nous prêts car à part nous qui les défendra ? Qui relève le nombre d’agressions verbales islamophobes ou négrophobes ainsi de celle vécue par une amie, Louiza, dans le métro, le jour de la manifestation contre l’antisémitisme, où deux jeunes femmes blondes lui ont lancé un cinglant « retourne d’où tu viens ! ». Ne suffirait il pas pour en finir avec l’antisémitisme de revendiquer à la fois la fin du racisme anti juif et l’application pleine et entière de l’ensemble des droits concernant la Palestine consacrés par les instances onusiennes, y compris par la Cour pénale internationale qui a admis, en février 2021, le statut d’Etat pour la Palestine, ce qui lui donne pleine compétence sur la Cisjordanie, la Bande de Gaza, y compris Jérusalem Est?
L’Etat israélien est un Etat criminel commettant en ce moment, sous nos yeux, un génocide. Je dis bien ‘génocide’ car cette action, même si elle répond à une attaque, est planifiée -le Premier ministre et le porte-parole de l’armée israélienne ont affirmé qu’il fallait aller jusqu’au bout-, est systématique -raser le territoire de Gaza de façon massive afin que les Palestiniens quittent leurs terres, les images parlent d’elles-mêmes- et est disproportionnée -il n’est qu’à regarder le paysage déchiré, balafré de Jabalya, de Gaza City, de Khan Younes, les champs agricoles labourés par les obus et les chars, écouter le chant funèbre du nombre de morts, de blessés en si peu de jours-. Cette action est commise à l’égard d’un peuple pour sa culture, son histoire et sa religion. Et cela face à ceux qui gouvernent et qui décident de l’avenir des peuples mais qui, refusant de nommer exactement ce qui se passe, se rendent complices d’actes criminels. Cela a un sens sur le plan du droit international et des normes de jus cogens.
Il n’y a aucun doute, depuis des décennies, les rapports sont légion portant témoignage que l’Etat d’Israël assassine, torture, emprisonne un peuple luttant pour son droit à l’autodétermination et sa souveraineté politique. A ces crimes de guerre, on se doit d’ajouter, depuis le bombardement de la bande de Gaza, celui de génocide. Le terme « génocide » est approprié, n’en déplaise à ceux qui qualifient ce génocide d’action légitime au prétexte que cet Etat a le droit de se défendre ! Tous ceux qui nous dirigent et qui semblent si bien savoir ce qui est bon pour les peuples, en particulier pour les peuples en lutte pour leurs droits à l’autodétermination et à la souveraineté politique, auraient-ils oublié la signification des articles 2§4 et 51 de la Charte des Nations Unies et de leur argumentation? Faudrait-il la leur rappeler ?
Ainsi, les colons israéliens, qui ont dû abandonner des terres ne leur appartenant pas, pourront y revenir en vainqueurs. Ce génocide est commis à l’égard d’un peuple devenu ‘terroriste’ selon les termes assumés par ceux qui décident de qui doit être puni pour la menace fantasmée « du choc des civilisations » qu’il représente. Et cela a pris une tournure systématique depuis le 11 septembre 2001. Ceux qui prônent « la loi et l’ordre » mais aussi un nouvel ordre mondial sous le signe du libéralisme se sont engouffrés dans cette brèche espérant ainsi avoir les mains libres pour rejouer ce que leurs ancêtres avaient réalisé en mettant en esclavage une grande partie du continent africain, en volant des terres ne leur appartenant pas, et en éliminant, par le génocide, les populations vivant sur ces terres ; ce qui a, ensuite, permis une colonisation systématique de nombreux peuples et pays.
Autant les pays esclavagistes et les colons se considéraient-ils intouchables avec le Code noir en poche, autant l’Etat d’Israël se considère-t-il, à son tour, intouchable grâce au slogan de « la loi et l’ordre » dont se prévaut son protecteur nord-américain soutenu par ses affidés de l’Union européenne.
Aujourd’hui, c’est « la loi et l’ordre », autant dire les armes et les violations, qui parle en premier ; une fois tout détruit, les négociations peuvent commencer, sans aucun fondement légal et en dehors de tout cadre. Et l’on va nous conter que la démocratie a été sauvée ! quel cynisme et quel mépris pour les peuples en lutte, pour leurs droits à la dignité! Et quelle déchéance pour l’humanité qui aspire à l’Humanité. Pour l’heure, il faut se résoudre à une inhumaine humanité.
Il est plus qu’urgent de ne pas se laisser phagocyter l’énergie de la résistance par des discours construits sur des mensonges institutionnels approximatifs. Ces procédés sont utilisés par ceux qui ont compris qu’ils sont sur une pente descendante et que leur seule option, pour continuer à dominer, est de diviser, de réprimer, de réduire la liberté d’expression, voire d’emprisonner si besoin, pour que cessent les enjambées de la résistance et de la solidarité politique internationale.
Le peuple palestinien se bat, résiste pour sa vie, pour ses droits dont le droit au retour. Pouvons-nous nous satisfaire de la déplorable position des forces gouvernementales et des partis de droite français ? Certes non. Au génocide visible s’ajoute une famine organisée par l’état d’occupation. Les Palestiniens sont acculés à une mort certaine si la communauté internationale ne se réveille pas très rapidement ! Il faut faire plus que jamais pression sur cet État criminel pour un cessez le feu qui ne soit pas donné comme une aumône. Le droit à une vie digne est un droit fondamental. Attenter à la vie, décider de la vie ou de la mort des Palestiniens est un crime de guerre. Parallèlement à ce cessez le feu, la communauté internationale doit permettre au Procureur de la Cour Pénale Internationale de débuter des enquêtes pour que les criminels soient jugés. N’oublions pas l’État de Palestine s’est vu reconnaître le statut d’État par la CPI en février 2021.
On peut tourner cela dans tous les sens ; on peut être ami d’Israël ou antisioniste -pour ceux qui amalgament antisionisme et antisémitisme, rappelons leur que pour l’un il s’agit d’une idéologie politique et pour l’autre d’une des expressions du racisme-, il n’en demeure pas moins que la Palestine se bat pour sa dignité et pour le devenir du monde qui, sans elle, s’engouffre vers l’incertitude du devenir, ou avec elle vers un monde dans lequel la régulation des rapports de force aurait un sens pour peu qu’une réforme substantielle de l’ONU advienne à laquelle devrait être ajouté l’abandon d’institutions telles que l’OMC, le FMI ou la Banque mondiale…
Il faut se garder de penser le monde sans la Palestine, ce serait un très mauvais signe pour les peuples dépendant de l’aide au développement ou des lignes de crédits allouées par le FMI ou la Banque mondiale ; ils pourraient bien se trouver à la merci de leur voisin avide de ce qu’ils possèdent, de leurs ressources naturelles et de leurs avantages climatiques. Dans ce contexte que deviendra l’Etat d’Haïti pour lequel certains Etats, dont les Etats Unis, la France, le Canada mais aussi d’autres comme ceux de la Caricom dont Barbades, Belize ont activement soutenu l’intervention armée, sous la responsabilité du Kenya et sous l’égide de l’ONU qui a préféré déléguer, hypocritement, ses responsabilités à un Etat Tiers. Remettre en cause les principes fondamentaux qui ont, d’une part, prévalu à la création de l’ONU et d’autre part, ont été confortés par les aspirations des peuples lors de la conférence de Bandung, reviendrait à assurer un retour vers un futur bien incertain : la mise en place de la loi du plus fort et d’une impunité institutionnalisée. N’est ce pas ce qui a prévalu avec le transport transatlantique forcé, la mise en esclavage et l’instrumentalisation de la race comme moyen de hiérarchiser l’humanité ?
Quelle sera, après l’abandon de la Palestine et la réoccupation par une armée étrangère de Haïti, la prochaine étape vers l’ignominie et l’irraison ?

Is abandoning Palestine tantamount to giving up the right to resist illegal colonization?
Let’s not forget that the Palestinian people have been illegally occupied and colonized for over 75 years, in total violation of international law, international humanitarian law and the founding principles of the United Nations Charter. With every bombardment of Gaza, every settler attack, every administrative imprisonment without trial, voices are raised to denounce these violations, but a deafening silence quickly covers them up. Have we become accustomed to this long and illegal occupation of a people who have already, after the UN’s decision to establish the State of Israel on the lands of the Palestinian people, lived through a Nakba that moved the West so little? What will become of the one that is about to take place, called by a member of the Knesset, « Right now, one goal: Nakba! A Nakba that will overshadow the Nakba of 1948” (Ariel KALLNER, Member of Knesset, Twitter, Oct. 7, 2023) »? Haven’t we also become accustomed to the deaths in Yemen, the DRC, Afghanistan, the Western Sahara and many other countries fighting for their rights?
European guilt over the fact that, during the Second World War, whites killed other whites has never ceased to strike a large part of the white world, including those on the left, as ethically, morally, intellectually and politically blind. Defending the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people is not anti-Semitism – the use of this term currently conceals many other racist thoughts. In their call to demonstrate « for the Republic and against anti-Semitism », the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly made it clear that « our secularism must be protected, as it is a bulwark against Islamism ». Alea jacta est: words have meaning. Once again, this march is a pretext for denouncing Islam and, more generally, Muslims living in France, as if it were accepted, once and for all, that they don’t like « Jews ». Do they forget who denounced the French or the refugees of Jewish religion in France? Who asked for the honor and the head of Captain Dreyfus? Who drew caricatures of Pierre Mendes France and which newspaper published them? A memory too short to be honest. Worse still, this dishonest memory obscures the real motive behind the anti-Semitic hatred that led to the genocide of
Europeans of the Jewish faith: the defense of white supremacy and Western civilization, the same one that today identifies with the Israeli state.
France wants to redeem itself morally, so it’s found a new culprit, in the hope that it will go down all the better because so many Muslims have arrived since the Thirty Glorious. It’s an appalling display of cynicism, but pure, unadulterated racism. Our country is a country with a racist and racializing ideology. In the wake of this irresponsible call, should we be worried about our brothers and sisters of the Muslim faith or identified as such, our black brothers and sisters? We certainly will. Will we be ready, because apart from us, who will defend them? Who notes the number of Islamophobic or negrophobic verbal assaults, such as the one experienced by a friend, Louiza, in the metro on the day of the demonstration against anti-Semitism, when two young blond women shouted a scathing « Go back to where you came from! To put an end to anti-Semitism, wouldn’t it be enough to demand both an end to anti-Jewish racism and the full application of all the rights concerning Palestine enshrined by UN bodies, including the International Criminal Court which, in February 2021, recognized Palestine’s statehood, giving it full jurisdiction over the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including East Jerusalem?
The Israeli state is a criminal state committing genocide before our very eyes. I say ‘genocide’ because this action, even if it is in response to an attack, is planned -the Prime Minister and the Israeli army spokesman have stated that it must be carried through to the end-, is systematic -massively destroying the territory of Gaza so that the Palestinians leave their land, the images speak for themselves- and is disproportionate -just look at the torn, scarred landscape of Jabalya, Gaza City, Khan Younes, the agricultural fields ploughed by shells and tanks, listen to the funeral dirge of the number of dead and wounded in so few days-. This action is committed against a people for its culture, history and religion. And this in the face of those who govern and decide on the future of peoples, but who, refusing to name exactly what is happening, are complicit in criminal acts. This makes sense in terms of international law and the norms of jus cogens.
There is no doubt that for decades there have been countless reports of the State of Israel murdering, torturing and imprisoning a people fighting for their right to self-determination and political sovereignty. To these war crimes, we must add, since the bombing of Gaza, the crime of genocide. The term « genocide » is appropriate, despite those who call this genocide a legitimate action under the pretext that this state has the right to defend itself! Have all those who lead us and who seem to know so well what is good for peoples, and especially for peoples fighting for their right to self-determination and political sovereignty, forgotten the meaning of Articles 2§4 and 51 of the United Nations Charter and their argument? Do they need reminding?
In this way, Israeli settlers, who have had to abandon land that does not belong to them, will be able to return to it as victors. This genocide is being committed against a people who have become « terrorists » in the words of those who decide who should be punished for the phantasmal « clash of civilizations » threat they represent. And this has become systematic since September 11, 2001. Those who advocate “law and order”, but also a new world order under the banner of liberalism, have stepped into this breach, hoping to have a free hand to re-enact what their ancestors achieved by enslaving a large part of the African continent, stealing land that did not belong to them, and eliminating, through genocide, the populations living on that land; which was then transformed by the systematic colonization of numerous peoples and countries.
Just as slave-owning countries and settlers considered themselves untouchable with the Code Noir in their pockets, so too does the State of Israel consider itself untouchable, thanks to the slogan of « law and order » promoted by its North American protector and supported by its affianced supporters in the European Union.
Today, it’s “law and order”, as well as weapons and violations, that speak first; once everything is destroyed, negotiations can begin, without any legal basis and outside any framework. What cynicism and contempt for people fighting for their right to dignity! And what a downfall for humanity that strives to be human. For the time being, we must resign ourselves to an inhuman humanity.
It is all the more urgent not to allow the energy of resistance to be phagocytized by discourses built on approximate institutional lies. These tactics are used by those who have realized that they are on a downward slope and that their only option, to continue dominating, is to divide, repress, reduce freedom of expression, even imprison if necessary, to stop the strides of resistance and international political solidarity.
The Palestinian people are fighting, resisting for their lives, for their rights, including the right of return. Can we be satisfied with the deplorable position of the French government and right-wing parties? Of course not. In addition to the visible genocide, the state of occupation has organized famine. The Palestinians are facing inevitable death if the international community doesn’t wake up soon! More than ever, pressure must be brought to bear on this criminal state for a ceasefire that is not just a handout. The right to a dignified life is a fundamental right. Attacking the lives, deciding on the life or death of Palestinians is a war crime. In parallel with this ceasefire, the international community must financially help the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court to begin investigations so that the criminals can be brought to justice. Let’s not forget that the State of Palestine was granted state status by the ICC in February 2021.
We can turn this around in all directions; You can be a friend of Israel or an anti-Zionist -for those who confuse anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism, let’s remind them that the former is a political ideology and the latter one of the expressions of racism- but the fact remains that Palestine is fighting for its dignity and for the future of the world which, without it, the world is rushing towards the uncertainty of the future, or with it towards a world in which the regulation of power relations would make sense, provided that a substantial reform of the UN takes place, to which should be added the abandonment of institutions such as the WTO, the IMF or the World Bank…
Thinking about the world without Palestine would be a a very bad sign for peoples dependent on development aid or lines of credit allocated by the IMF or the World Bank; they could well find themselves at the mercy of their neighbor, greedy for what they possess, their natural resources and their climatic advantages. In this context, what will become of the State of Haiti, for which certain States, including the United States, France and Canada, but also others such as those of Caricom, Barbados and Belize, have actively supported armed intervention, under the responsibility of Kenya and under the aegis of the UN, which preferred hypocritically to delegate its responsibilities to a Third State? To call into question the fundamental principles which, on the one hand, prevailed at the creation of the UN and, on the other, were reinforced by the aspirations of the peoples at the Bandung conference, would be to ensure a return to a very uncertain future: the establishment of the law of the strongest and institutionalized impunity. Isn’t this what prevailed with forced transatlantic transport, enslavement and the instrumentalization of race as a means of hierarchizing humanity?
After the abandonment of Palestine and the reoccupation of Haiti by a foreign army, what will be the next step towards ignominy and irrationality?
